This past fall, the Crisis and Trauma Program’s own Professor Einat Peled was recognized by the Association of Social Workers for her contributions and innovations in the study and treatment of domestic and gender-based violence.
Professor Peled is a senior faculty member, researcher and lecturer at the Bob Shapell School of Social Work at the Gershon Gordon Faculty of Social Sciences. She received the Yossi Katan award, given to lecturers and researchers who develop programs in collaboration with services and agencies in the community and successfully bring academic knowledge into the day-to-day practice of the profession.
Prof. Peled is a fine example for our students, as an academic who has truly combined her research work with her activities in social welfare, to benefit of both.
