General Information

Dr. Naftali's career combines teaching and research with skilled and dedicated social entrepreneurship. For over 30 years he has initiated, developed and advanced a wide range of innovative social programs as CEO of two of the leading NPOs in Israel in the areas of Youth at Risk and Mental Health. In the last decade, Dr Naftali has founded and leads three CSO's focusing on International development, disaster relief, international volunteering and social creativeness, and has chaired leading positions in the Israeli voluntary sector. He has published over three dozen articles, research reports and numerous working papers on subjects such as voluntarism and civil society, youth empowerment, community and local involvement, lobbying and public awareness, youth in distress, delinquency, immigration, children at risk, youth work and youth policies, and cross-cultural intervention strategies.
