Hagit Sinai-Glazer joined the School of Social Work at Tel Aviv University after completing her PhD at McGill University and a postdoctoral appointment with the Azrieli International Postdoctoral Fellowship.
With ethnographic methodologies and through critical standpoints, Sinai-Glazer investigates social work practice and how it is shaped by organizational, institutional, social, and professional contexts.
Dr. Sinai-Glazer peruse a deep nuanced understanding of the everyday practices of social workers in public services in order to shed light on how everyday practice is situated by and located within broad and complex contexts. In addition, Sinai-Glazer explores the multi-faceted encounter between welfare and motherhood.
