Prof. Karni Ginzburg

Karni Ginzburg is a Full Professor at the Bob Shapell School of Social Work and a researcher in the field of trauma. Prof. Ginzburg attained her master's degree in cognitive psychology and her PhD in social work at Tel Aviv University.

Prof. Ginzburg’s work is centered on the intersection between exposure to traumatic stress, representations of the self and representations of the body. In her work, she deals with uncovering the complex relationship between these three factors, and in developing models that explain the mechanisms involved in this relationship.
