Lia Levin is an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University's Bob Shapell School of Social Work. Her work advances the theorization, conceptualization, research, and application of social justice, with specific emphasis on its interlockings with epistemic justice and eco-social justice. She has published several articles and book chapters exploring theoretical and value-based principles of accountable and transformative social policy and professionalism within the realities of public welfare systems.
Prof. Levin is highly committed to challenging existing hierarchies of epistemic legitimacy and to bridging gaps between academia, communities, professionals, service-users, civil society, and policymakers.
